Teaching

 

Diane Nalini is an award-winning jazz singer and songwriter with over ten years of experience teaching learners of all ages, from high school students to retirees. She has released five critically-acclaimed albums, performed at jazz festivals around the world, and given gala performances for President Bill Clinton and Sir Paul McCartney. An accomplished songwriter, composer, and lyricist, Diane has written or co-written songs that have been used in movies, television shows and video games.

Diane was on faculty at the University of Guelph for five years, where she brought music into the physics classroom on a regular basis. She is passionate about making music more accessible and enjoyable to all. In addition to teaching in Carleton University’s Lifelong Learning program, she gives workshops in singing, vocal improvisation, songwriting and ukulele.
